A conventional, electrically driven, mixer is provided with a set of opposed handles that are clamped to the motor casing by a strap (8). The shape of these handles is such that they act as feet that allow the mixer to be placed on a surface without touching it. Principally the handle (9) is U-shaped so that the mixer lies horizontally as the U-plane sits on the surface. Alternatively the mixer points vertically upwards when the uppermost points of handles (9,10) sit on the surface. Both handles are formed from tubing and finished off with soft, polyurethane, grips. An electric lead passes conveniently through the tubing to a switch (40) in handle (10). |
