PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily drying Nemacystus decipiens while maintaining its high quality. SOLUTION: This method for drying Nemacystus decipiens comprises the steps of (a) treating the Nemacystus decipiens with a solvent containing a lower alcohol and (b) dehydrating the thus treated Nemacystus decipiens; wherein the final ethanol concentration of the solvent is preferably 45-60 wt.% and the solvent contains, if desired, an alkali.
