A urine collecting device for horses, especially mares, suitable for attachment to a special holding harness and a special head part therefor, which is advantageously suitable for collecting pregnant mares' urine for obtaining natural mixtures of conjugated estrogens. The holding harness with urine collecting device according to the invention offers high flexibility and wearing comfort for the horse. The horse's freedom of movement is not substantially impaired by the holding harness with urine collecting device, so grazing is possible, and it is not necessary to tether the horse in a narrow stall. The urine collecting device of the invention is distinguished in particular in that the urine collecting part and the head part are joined via a detachable connection, such as a bayonet lock. |
