The invention concerns a secure method for transaction between a buyer (4), a seller (1), a financial institution (2), the transaction being carried out at least partly via a computer network. The invention is characterised in that it consists in associating with each transaction at least an identifier, a unique transaction number validated by a secret code, the transaction number being provided by a certification institution (3) and being valid for a single transaction; when the buyer's membership is registered, the certification institution transmits to the buyer at least a transaction number and the secret code, and when the seller's membership is registered, the certification institution transmits to the seller a member-seller number and a key and provides the seller with access to a secure payment file (5); during the transaction, the file (5) is completed and after validation transmitted to the certification institution to be processed, the institution (3) accepting the transaction and transmitting to the financial institution the member-seller number and the amount of the transaction when the data match, the file (5) also comprises an absolute time reference given at the time when the file (5) is received by the certification institution. |
