<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate regulating and fabricating of the thickness of a face member, to facilitate making of respective segments to predetermined dimensions and strength and to enhance the strength of fitting a head body with the face member. SOLUTION: This golf club head is constituted by chipping at least the peripheral segment of the rear surface of the face member 3 down to the peripheral edge of the face member 3 so as to make the central part of the face member thick and welding the peripheral edge of the face member 3 formed thin in the peripheral segment to the head body.</p> |
