PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of reliably removing silicon left on or adhered to a drum used for carrying and storing silicon, and recycling a used drum for oil, a used drum for paint, etc., together with other used drums. SOLUTION: This system comprises a pre-treatment unit 8 for performing internal inspection and removing residues, a cleaning unit 9 for cleaning the inside of the used drum by using cleaning agent, a first drying unit 10 for drying the cleaned drum, a coating peeling unit 11 for peeling outer coating, a coating unit 12 for performing new coating on an outer surface, and a second drying unit 13 for drying the coated drum which are disposed in this order. The cleaning unit 9 comprises a silicon drum cleaning device 9A, an oil drum cleaning device 9B and a paint drum cleaning device 9C, and cleaning is individually performed in the cleaning unit 9. Cleaning agent is poured in the used drum for silicon, and the drum is left still, and the residue is eluted in the cleaning agent, to remove.
