PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup holder improved so as to generate no trouble even if downward force is applied to a outer periphery of a rotary member of a cup holding part in a use position. SOLUTION: This cup holder includes a case 2 fixed on a vertical wall, a main holder 6 engaging with the case 2 movably in back and forth, and a sub holder 7 pivotally attached on the main holder 6 movably between a housed position and the use position to hold a drink container in cooperation with a recess part 9 formed in the main holder 6. The cup holder includes an elastic energizing means (twist coil spring 13) to regularly apply rotation force toward the use position side on the sub holder 7, projection stripe 16 extending on inner surface of the case 2, and threaded projection stripe 16 provided on the sub holder 7 to rotate the sub holder 7 toward the housed position in proportion to back and forth movement of the main holder 6 with engaging with the projection stripe 16. The projection stripe and the threaded projection stripe are disengaged to allow the sub holder 7 rotating downward at least in the use position that the main holder 6 is pulled out from the case 2.
