PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional platform door device that when the number of doors per car is increased, dimensional interference is caused in separately providing platform doors on the platform side corresponding to the doors of the car. SOLUTION: The platform door is divided into plural door elements, whereby in opening a getting on-and-off port, the next door element is sequentially stored in the door element, and on completion of storing all door elements, the door element is rotated for one door element to open the getting on-and-off port. The thus constructed platform door device can correspond to a car having a short getting on-and-off port space. When the door element is rotated toward the car, the rotated door element fulfils the function of guiding to the getting on-and-off port of the vehicle. |
