摘要 PURPOSE: A sheave manufacturing method through hot rolling forging method capable of manufacturing sheave of high quality without passing through casting method is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing sheave for wire rope comprises first process of performing cutting operation and drilling operation; second process of welding the boss by inserting a boss into a hole into which the boss is inserted; third process of removing stress of a welding part caused by welding of the boss; fourth process of heating an iron plate to be processed passing through the third process; fifth process of resting the iron plate to be processed on a lower die(40) put on a rotation plate(34); sixth process of subsequently putting an upper die(50) on the iron plate to be processed rested on a lower die(40), and fixing the upper die(50) thereto; seventh process of simultaneously heating the edge of the iron plate to be processed through gas torches and rotating the iron plate to be processed in a direction; eighth process of operating a hydraulic operating unit(10) so that a first rotational tool(20) cuts the edge center of the iron plate to be processed to a depth of less than 100 mm; ninth process of secondly further cutting thereby expanding the cut portion of the iron plate to be processed that is first cut by the first rotational tool(20); tenth process of expanding the cut portion of the iron plate to be processed so that the edge part of the cut and expanded iron plate to be processed almost approaches forming ends of the upper and lower dies(50,40); eleventh process of forming the edge part of the cut and expanded iron plate to be processed correspondingly to the shape of the forming ends of the upper and lower dies(50,40); and twentieth process of completing the sheave for wire rope by finish cutting the heat treated iron plate in a lathe after heat treating the iron plate in an ordinary heat treating method by separating a rolling forging operation completed iron plate through the eleventh process from the upper and lower dies(50,40).
