The mechanism has two relatively movable components. One has a row of teeth, the second has a drive element with headstocks. The second component (12) has a contact face (14), and this engages on the jacket surface (16) of the drive element. The surface normal (N) of the contact face extends through a line (L), which extends mainly between the axis of two headstocks. These penetrate into tooth spaces and engage on the tooth bottom. The contact face is part of a guide, which extends at right-angles to the adjustment direction. |
