PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture input device and a picture output system to which the output format of a picture can be designated when inputting a picture. SOLUTION: A selection box 32A for selecting the kind of a document, a selection box 32B for selecting the kind of a photograph, a selection box 32C for selecting whether or not to give ground removal processing to a read picture, a selection box 32D for selecting a reading density, a selection box 32E for selecting both-side document feeding, a selection box 32F for selecting a reading magnification and selection box 32G for selecting output formats (JPEG, a bit map, PDF, GIF, etc.), are provided in the selection picture 30 of a scanning function. Since the output format can be designated in reading of the picture like this way, an operator can select an optimal output format in accordance with the kind of the picture. |
