PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a spectroscopic analysis system and an imaging method, in which the effective region of a light beam, especially a spectrally spread beam, can be selected without taking into account the other regions. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided, having a matrix 1 of photodetectors 4 wherein each photodetector 4 comprises a CMOS pixel 2 and an amplifier 3 for attaining gain and gain control means which can individually fix the gain of each photodetector 4.
