PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a shift unintended by a driver when a failure or the like occurs in a hydraulic controlling device. SOLUTION: This controlling device has at least either one of a regulating means 301 blocking a movement of an actuator 136 from a geared neutral point to a gear ratio HIGH side of the continuously variable transmission when the gear ratio is in a power circulating mode forward side, or a regulating means 302 blocking a movement of the actuator 136 from the geared neutral point to a gear ratio LOW side of the continuously variable transmission when the gear ratio is in a power circulating mode reverse side.
