PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and an image forming device capable of detecting toner with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This developing device is equipped with a cleaning member 60Y having a scraper 61Y for cleaning light transmissible exposure surfaces 55Y and 56Y facing to the toner detecting areas of reflection polarizing plates 53Y and 54Y, and a scraper supporting part 62Y supporting the scraper 61Y so as to move along the surfaces 55Y and 56Y in a state where the scraper 61Y abuts on the surfaces 55Y and 56Y in accordance with the turning of a toner hopper 40Y in the toner hopper 40Y. The scraper 61Y always abuts on the surfaces 55Y and 56Y in a state where it is bent in U-shape between both of the surfaces 55Y and 56Y. Thus, the cleaning operation of the surfaces 55Y and 56Y is surely performed by the scraper 61Y, and sliding resistance between the scraper 61Y and the surfaces 55Y and 56Y is small. |
