PURPOSE: A boss separating apparatus of an injection metal mold is provided to improve the quality of injection molded products by forming a guide surface in an oblique core, and by installing in a boss core a roller which rolls along the guide surface and a boss core separating core assembly which is separated from a boss portion while it descends with the roller under pressure by a spring. CONSTITUTION: A boss separating apparatus of an injection metal mold comprises an oblique core(16), a cylinder, a boss separating core assembly(30), a roller(40), and a stopper(42). The oblique core(16) is slantingly disposed under a vertical core(18). A guide surface(16a) is formed on the upper side of the oblique core(16). The cylinder is provided in the vertical core(18) on the opposite side of the guide surface(16a). The boss separating core assembly(30) is slidingly moved upward and downward along an inner wall of the cylinder under pressure by a spring(32). The roller(40) is rollingly mounted on a base portion(36) of the boss separating core assembly(30) via a roller shaft(38). The stopper(42) contacts the base portion(36) to restrain the downward movement of the base portion(36).
