PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heat a hood to form an atmosphere, where dew condensation is prevented from occurring, during cooking by an IH cooking heater. SOLUTION: At least a filter 31 is situated in a hood body 11, the lower side of which forms the suction side, to constitute a hood 1. A blower 41 is situated in the back space of the filter 31 of the hood body 11 or at the outside of the hood body 11. A means 2 is provided to heat the hood 1 to form the atmosphere where dew condensation does not occur. The means 2 consists of a heat generating device and a hot air generating device 12. In the case of providing the heat generating device 12, the device is situated on the inner surface of the hood body 11 and a filter 31 or a member situated upstream of it. The hot air generating device 12 is constituted such that a part of exhaust air from the blower 41 provided in the body 11 is heated by a heater 12b and supplied from the lower side toward the hood body 11 to heat the hood 1.
