PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance and inexpensive liquid crystal display element which is restrained to decrease luminance and improved in the utilization of light. SOLUTION: A array substrate 2 is provided with a TFT 10 arranged for each pixel; a scanning signal wiring 11 connected with the TFT 10, a video signal wiring 12, and a pixel electrode 13; a counter electrode 14 opposing the pixel electrode 13; and common signal wiring 15 electrically connected with the counter electrode 14. The pixel electrode 13 and the counter electrode 14 are wire-like electrodes having curved parts 13a, 14a, and these curved parts are formed circular in shape. |
