PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric barrier discharge lamp device achieving excellent ultraviolet injection rate even if lamp input power increases, as well as simplifying structure of a feeder section on an internal electrode to achieve downsizing of an entire device. SOLUTION: The dielectric barrier discharge lamp 1 comprises a discharge receptacle 10 wherein both an external tube 3 and an internal tube 2 are coaxially-located to form a nearly cylindrical discharge space S with a transom window 11 formed on at least its part, and one electrode 5 formed inside the internal tube 2 and the other electrode 6 opposed to the electrode 5. In this dielectric barrier discharge lamp 1 cooled by circulating cooled fluid around inner area P of the internal tube 2, a pipe 4 and the internal tube 2 for flowing the cooled fluid in and out are interconnected via joint structures 8/8' made of insulative polymer material.
