SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING WAREHOUSING/DELIVERY AND STOCKS IN FLAT WAREHOUSE

PURPOSE: To provide a system for controlling warehousing/delivery and stocks in a flat warehouse, which is easily introduced without reconstructing an existing building. CONSTITUTION: This system for controlling warehousing/delivery and stocks in a flat warehouse, preferably a freezing/refrigerating flat warehouse is characterized by automatically updating information on the warehousing/delivery and the stocks based on position confirming information on pallets carried on a forklift truck. The position confirming information is the one obtained by confirming the position of the pallet carried on the forklift truck with a transmitter carried on the forklift truck (on a mast) and a plurality of receivers disposed in the warehouse. This system comprises a computer for controlling warehousing to the warehouse; a computer for controlling the forklift truck; a physical distribution computer, means for confirming a position of the forklift truck by a forklift truck control computer connected to the transmitter carried on the forklift truck and the receivers disposed on the warehouse; and communication means for exchanging information between the forklift truck and the physical distribution computer. Incoming and outgoing articles data/ picking data are received from CPU and performance data are returned thereto.
