PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize radio communication by millimeter waves indoors. SOLUTION: In the door knob of a door being an obstacle on a transmission path, knob parts 52 and 61 are respectively provided with millimeter wave antennas 71 and 81. Then, millimeter waves received through one of the antennas 71 and 81 are received by transmitting and receiving modules 73 and 83 to which the antennas 71 and 81 are connected. Then, electric signals corresponding to the millimeter waves are supplied from the transmitting and receiving modules 73 and 83 through cables 74 and 84 to the opposite transmitting and receiving modules 83 and 73. The opposite transmitting and receiving modules 83 and 73 radiate the millimeter waves corresponding to the electric signals through the other antennas 81 and 71. The similar constitution can be installed in a handrail set in stairs in the building. Thus, it is possible to perform radio communication by millimeter waves in all indoor rooms in the building having the above mentioned door knob, door, and handrail. |
