Method for sealing an electric motor (1) designed to be fitted in an automobile: (a) the machine (1) is placed in a mold (7) of complementary shape; (b) at low pressure a plastic material (8) is injected into the mold to form a sealing layer over the machine. The plastic material is formed from a thermo-fusible adhesive resin. The resin is injected into the mold at about 6 bar and 200 degrees C.
