PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric antenna in which a broad band can be attained even when the thickness of the dielectric antenna having an inverted F structure is thinned in spite of the dielectric antenna, which is supplied with electricity from one end section side of a radiation element, in which the other end section side is connected to a grounding conductor, and which has extremely small size and has high performance. SOLUTION: The radiation element 2 is mounted on the surface of a dielectric substrate 1 so that the radiation element 2 is supplied with electricity from one end side 2a of the element 2 while the other end side 2b is connected to the grounding conductor such as a mounting substrate 6 through one side wall 3a of the dielectric substrate 1. The length L of the radiation element 2 is formed so as to have the electric length of the quarter wavelength of a transmitting and receiving signal frequency band, an exciting electrode 3 is mounted on one end side 2a of the radiation element 2 through a regular internal, and a power supply section is formed at one end section of the exciting electrode 3. The grounding conductor is not formed on the rear of the dielectric substrate 1, and the grounding conductor 7 is not formed to a section 6a on which an antenna section 5 is mounted even in the mounting substrate 6 to which the antenna section 5 is secured.
