PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set the optimum output range of a gloss sensor, and to detect even the slight glossiness difference. SOLUTION: This gloss sensor for irradiating a sample to be measured with LED light, converting the reflected light quantity into an electric signal by a light receiving circuit part, and outputting the signal is characterized by switching and controlling the irradiation light quantity by an LED control circuit, allowing the LED control circuit to be equipped with plural series circuits between resistances and transistors, and allowing the resisters to have different resister values respectively.
