The support structure has a hollow support (11, 12) of two longitudinal sections joined in a seam plane running across the longitudinal axis. The ends of these sections overlap and run inclined to the longitudinal centre axis of the hollow support in the joining seam area. The seam plane can be inclined at an angle between 15 and 75 degrees to the longitudinal centre axis of the hollow support.
