<p>We describe a method of alleviating or preventing a tachyphylactic response to an agent in a individual, the method comprising administering to the individual an antagonist of a metabolic enzyme which is induced as a result of exposure of the individual to the agent, in which the enzyme activity is capable of metabolising the agent.</p> |
