<p>A bone screw (1) having a head (11) and a shank (10). The shank (10) having a ball (22) thereon and the head (11) having a socket (45) for receiving the ball (22). The ball (22) being externally threaded and the chamber (45) communicating with the exterior of the head (11) through a threaded bore. The ball (22) being threadably received through the bore and being swivable in the chamber (45) after passing through the bore. The bone screw (1) including at least one set screw (12,13) that operably engages the ball (22) to lock the head (11) in position relative to the shank(10).</p> |
