<p>The invention relates generally to the changes in gene expression in mast cells during maturation and in tissues removed from patients with urticaria or allergic hypersensitivity relative to gene expression in mast cells removed from normal subjects. The invention specifically relates to four novel gene families which are differentially expressed in mast cells and allergic hypersensitivity diseases, such as urticaria, compared to normal tissues.</p> |
