The inventive method for regional administration of preparations for curing liver tumours consists in administering the preparation into the branch of a portal vein, simultaneously occluding afferent and efferent vessels of the liver lobe ( branches of the portal vein disposed higher than a puncture, branches of the liver artery and the vein of the liver lobe) during 5-15 minutes. It is preferred to use teraphtal as the preparation for catalytic therapy and to administer ascorbic acid after the occlusion. It is preferred to use photosense as the preparation for photodynamic therapy and to irradiate the tumor 10-35 minutes later. The inventive method makes it possible to accumulate the preparations mainly in the target liver lobe (tumor-carrier lobe), to reduce the quantity of preparation penetrating into a blood stream, thereby reducing the dose of the preparation and the toxicity thereof.
|
