Detection and alarm arrangement for a door, a hatch or the like (3), which includes a lock (1,4) having a bolt (5), which is movable by means of a key or the like between a protruding or locking position and a retracted or releasing position, and a detecting member (6), which is arranged in cooperation with the bolt (5). The detecting member (6) is movable from the lock into its protruding position urged by a spring (7). The movement of the detecting member (6) into its protruding position is controlled by means of the bolt (5) and prevented by a counter piece (11) for the lock when the door, hatch or the like (3) is locked. In addition the lock includes a sensor (8) known per se, for instance a micro switch (8), which is arranged to detect the position of the detecting member (6) and to switch on desired alarm operations in case both the bolt (5) and the detecting member (6) are simultaneously in their protruding position.
