The invention relates to a device for the closure of sausage casings or similar comprising plate-like tie elements forming a tress and a power-operated device for fixing an enclosing clip around said tress. The invention is characterized in that the power source for closing the enclosing the clip is fixed to one of the tie elements and is pivotable therewith, whereupon the stamping element of the device is guided in said tie element along the entire advancement path thereof. |
