PURPOSE: A tension adjusting nut of a parking cable is provided to improve the parking performance of a vehicle by precisely adjusting the tension of a parking cable, and to enhance work efficiency by improving assembling efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A tension adjusting nut of a parking cable comprises a nut housing(10) consisting of a poly-angular head portion(11) and a nut connecting portion(12), a spring(20) inserted to nut housing, a clutch(30) having a poly-angular side and a first gear(31), and a nut(40) having a second gear(41) engaged with the first gear and a matching recessed groove(42) connected to the nut connecting portion of the nut housing. Upon rotating the nut housing, the clutch also rotates. The nut rotates with the clutch. The elasticity coefficient of the spring is determined when being applied to the parking cable. Therefore, the tension of the parking cable is adjusted correctly.
