<p>An optical gas sensor has at least one radiation source 8, at least one measuring detector 9,12 and a reference detector 11, and is characterised in that the reflective measurement gas cuvette is formed as an annular space 1 between an inner cylinder section 6 and an outer concentric cylinder section 2, which reduces the gas-bearing volume of the cuvette and leads to a shorter response time. The annular space is delimited by a cover element that is permeable to the measurement gas and a base element 7 which accomodates the radiation source 8. A temperature probe 10 may be arranged in the inner cylinder section, and the cover element may be selected so as not to be reflective in some areas, interrupting shorter ray-paths and improving the sensitivity.</p> |
