PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub with an elevating/lowering bottom wall for stably elevating and lowering a person inside the bathtub. SOLUTION: A double wall part (2-1) composed of an inner wall (2-1a) and an outer wall (2-1b) is provided on the bottom part of this bathtub (1), at least the inner wall (2-1a) of the double wall part (2-1) is formed of a flexible material and a fluid gateway (15) for taking fluid in and out of the double wall part (2-1) is provided on the double wall part (2-1).
