PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod storage container of which the bottom is difficult to be come off and easily subjected to built-in forming. SOLUTION: An extended piece forming the bottom is composed of an extended piece 1f at the upper part of a side sidewall part 1b, an extended piece 1g at the upper part of the front sidewall part 1c, an extended piece 1h at the upper part of the other side sidewall part 1d and an extended piece 1i at the upper part of the back sidewall part 1e. A notch 1n is formed on the right approximately at the center of the vertical direction of the bottom extended piece 1f. A thin cut hole 1o is formed approximately at the center of the vertical direction of the bottom extended piece 1g. A notch 1p is formed on the right approximately at the center of the vertical direction of the bottom extended piece 1h. A projected piece 1q is extended at the end of the bottom extended piece 1i. The notch 1n and the notch 1p are connected. The projected piece 1q is inserted into the cut hole 1o.
