The invention relates to a system for treating vascular adhesions, especially for removing varicose veins. The system comprises a probe (10), detachably mounted on a hand piece (20), on whose distal end a treatment instrument (18) is provided, an electric motor that sets the treatment device (18) in a rotational movement about the longitudinal axis of the probe (10), and a control device (30) that controls said rotational movement. The inventive system is further characterized in that it is provided with an electric drive that sets the treatment device (18) in a reciprocating movement along the longitudinal axis of the probe (10). |
