PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve peeling from filter cloth and to decrease water content of dehydrated cake by forming floc suitable for dehydration in dehydrating sludge by a dehydrater. SOLUTION: A polymeric cationic high-molecular coagulant, preferably an amidino polymer and an inorganic coagulant are added in this order to organic sludge, and after mixing, the mixture is dehydrated by a dehydrater.
