摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pachinko/pachinko-slot game machine wherein the operation status of an applicable machine at that point can be quickly known. SOLUTION: An already known display character of which the growth and development processes change in shape in steps is stored while corresponding with a plurality of data (an operating period of time, the number of failed balls, the number of times for an almost winning situation, the number of times for a big win, and the number of times for a pattern variation start) which are transformed into a matrix (abcde, 12345). Then, depending on the operating status, data in the matrix is displayed on a display device as one pattern of the display character. In the case when the display character is a chicken, a display of the shining egg indicates that the big win often happens in the initial stage of the operation. When a chick is not active (the chick has an unhealthy color or dull movements), it indicates that a ball discharge is not favorable at the intermediate stage of the operation. When a grown up chicken is active, it indicates that the game machine is good.
