摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet head having superior discharge stability and discharge power and capable of expressing gradations widely in units of dots. SOLUTION: There is set an element (1120) formed on a substrate (100). The element (1120) in a laminated structure includes a compact electromagnet comprised of a coil (1103) and a core (1102), an electrode (1104) for energizing the electromagnet, and a displacement plate (1106) formed of a magnetic material opposite to the core via a gap. Moreover, a liquid passage and an ink discharge opening are set above the element. Ink is discharged according to the action of a pressure generated as a result of a displacement of a displacement part following the action of a magnetic force generated by the electromagnet in response to the energization. Further, the coil has a multilayer structure in which a plurality of coil patterns turned at least once within substantially the same plane are layered, and a winding structure having coil patterns connected via a via hole contact.
