PURPOSE:To obtain a beautiful panorama image with less number of components by forming the device with a CRT display device, an arithmetic operation device generating a video signal, a cylindrical concave mirror and a half mirror. CONSTITUTION:When a completely circular graph, for example, is displayed for a player, an ellipse 1e resulting from compressing a regular picture in the horizontal direction through the use of an arithmetic operation circuit is displayed on a screen of a CRT display device 1. In this case, the light from the picture is reflected in a half mirror 3, projected to a concave face of a concave mirror 2, magnified and extended in the horizontal direction to form a regular circular picture. The picture transmits through the half mirror 3 and observed by the palyer. Thus, a video image displayed on the entire face of a horizontally long screen 1a is displayed in a panorama shape for the player. |
