PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to separate a metal material and synthetic resins from a waste wire by cutting and crushing the waste wire and thereafter to separate an iron and a non iron from the metal material. CONSTITUTION: A hopper(11) is installed at an upper portion of a crushed material transfer body(10). A pair of conveying shafts are installed both side ends of the crushed material transfer body(10) and they are mechanically connected with each other through a conveyer belt(13). The conveying shafts(12) are driven by a driving motor(14) installed at a position adjacent to one conveying shaft(12). Rotating shafts(21,21a) having sprockets(22,22a) for driving a pair of chains(23,23a) are installed at a front part and a rear part of an iron conveyer body(20). A support member(24) and a conveying plate(25) are installed between the chains(23,23a). An absorbing plate having a permanent magnet(2) is installed to the center of the iron conveyer body(20) by means of a bolt(31). The permanent magnet(2) is supported by a support member(30). The absorbing plate is located at a position which a conveying plate(25) is contacted with it.
