The present invention relates to a kind of shell-and-tube heat exchanger, it includes a shell (7), a lot of heat transfer tubes (8), a tube plate (5) and a head (2, 10). The tubes (8) are made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) plastic, the ends of which go through the tube plate (5). A flange portion (12) is formed at the end of each tubes (8) located at the outside of the tube plate (5). There is a pressure plate (4) between the head (2, 10) and the tube plate (5), it makes the flange portion (12) be secured frimly between the pressure plate (4) and the tube plate (5).
