PURPOSE: A shift locking device for a vehicle is provided to carry out the shift locking function easily by mounting a locking cable, thereby simplifying the structure and remove related parts. CONSTITUTION: A shift locking device for a vehicle includes a locking cable(1) moving between a contact point part(2) positioned to a brake and an operation part(3) positioned to an automatic transmission by a wire(4), wherein the contact point part has a side inserted into a pin insertion hole(21A) of a first housing(21) and the other side has a contact point pin(22) fixed with an end of the wire and elastically supported by a compression spring(24) in the protrusion direction always, the operation part has a side inserted into a pin insertion hole(31A) of a second housing and the other side has an operation pin(32) fixed with the other end of the wire and elastically supported by a tension spring(33) in an insertion direction always, and a brake pedal is integrally formed with a contact protrusion part to contact or separate from the contact point pin of the contact point part by the rotation of the brake pedal.
