PURPOSE: A method for transferring a wireless Internet e-mal using a portable terminal is provided to transfer a large data file to a receiver at anywhere by connecting to the Internet with a wireless mode through the portable terminal embedding an Internet function. CONSTITUTION: The wireless Internet e-mail transfer method comprises the steps of storing the data file by connecting to a work area folder of a homepage in a mobile mail providing system(S100), connecting to the homepage of the mobile mail providing system(S110), deciding a membership of a user(S130), inputting an ID and a password(S140), connecting to the user's folder(S150), selecting the data file to be transferred(S170), inputting an e-mail address of the receiver(S160), and transferring the selected data file(S180).
