PURPOSE: A method for assembling a panel and a frame-mask and a cathode ray tube are provided to control a value of Q by inserting a frame into fixed bars of an auxiliary frame welded on one side of a shadow mask, assembling the frame-mask and the panel, and fixing the auxiliary frame. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary frame(31) is formed with a flat plate member and a multitude of circular bar(41). An upper portion of the flat plate member is welded to one side of a mask(12). The bars(41) is adhered to a lower portion of the flat plate member. A pin is used for fixing the bars(41) of the auxiliary frame(31). A frame has a multitude of hole. The bars(41) of the auxiliary frame(31) are inserted into the holes. Three plate springs are fixed to the frame. The plate spring is fixed to one side of the frame. A plate spring hole is formed on a free end portion of the plate spring.
