PURPOSE: Provided is a safety plate of a secondary battery case, which can prevent the explosion of the secondary battery by being opened more stably under a critical pressure. CONSTITUTION: The safety plate of the secondary battery case(1) has the form of a symmetrical V-type groove, wherein one end part of the V-type groove is placed over the stress concentrated part(3) formed on the edge of the case(1). When the safety plate is opened, an electrolyte is exhausted in the side direction not the straight upper direction, therefore, the safety can be increased.
