摘要

PURPOSE: To form grooves on the front surface of a liquid absorptive core in a manner not to decrease a front surface area capable of absorbing body fluid in a disposable diaper. CONSTITUTION: The grooves 15 which recess in a direction toward a rear surface sheet 3 from a front surface sheet 2 are formed at the liquid absorptive core 4 of the disposable diaper 1. Water absorptive fibers 31 and highly water absorptive polymer particles 2 forming the core 4 are interposed between the front surface sheet 2 covering the bottoms 34 and side walls 36 of the grooves 15 and the rear surface sheet 3 facing the same.
