<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for organic sludge which facilitates concentration of the organic sludge and is capable of concentrating the sludge at a low cost, efficiently effecting a hydrothermal reaction, preventing the closure and wear of an equipment, depositing hazardous materials as solids and preventing elution of the hazardous material to treated water. SOLUTION: The organic sludge is introduced into a flocculation basin l and is subjected to flocculation treatment by adding an inorganic flocculating agent of an amount below 50% of SS as an oxidizing agent. The thick sludge concentrated to a concentration of 5 to 15 wt.% by a concentrator 2 is introduced into a hydrothermal reactor 4 where the oxidizing agent is supplied from an oxidizing agent vessel 5 to the sludge and the hydrothermal reaction is effected in a supercritical or subcritical state. The solids are separated in a solid-liquid separator 6 and gas-liquid separation is effected in a gas-liquid separator 7.</p> |
