PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a courtesy switch for a door lock, of which the contact point is waterproof and dustproof, and the precise on/off switching can be achieved. SOLUTION: In the courtesy switch, a guide pin 14 sliding on a slide groove 30 formed in a base 1 is provided, the sliding of the guide pin 14 responding to the opening and closing of the door lock, and an arm 9 changing its position responding to the sliding of the guide pin 14 is also provided. When the arm 9 reaches a subscribed position, a magnet 4 arranged inside the base 1 is attracted to the arm 9, which is a magnetic material, and a first terminal 12 is lifted up, so that an non-contacted state between the first terminal and a second terminal 2 is obtained.
