PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for an upright wave absorbing revenment in which although the rear concrete revetment is structurally separated from a wave dissipating block to independently fulfill the function, the upright wave dissipating block 1 is remodeled to uniform it without assembling the form at the construction site to construct a safer and more sturdy upright wave absorbing revetment. SOLUTION: A wave dissipating block in which an additional wall 3 is connected to the rear wall 2 of a conventional upright wave dissipating block 1 is stacked on 7 and concrete is placed between the two walls 2, 3 used for forms to construct the upright wave absorbing revetment constructed by integrally combining the wave dissipating block 1 with the concrete wall.
