PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in a plant cutting machine, when cutting operation in a field is not completed by one stroke of traveling of the machine body by the length of a shearing blade due to a wide field, the machine body is required to turn at the end of a field so as to reciprocate the machine body in the field, since the machine body is lengthened in the right and left direction because the shearing blade is set long in the right and left direction in order to improve efficiency of a cutting operation in one stroke of traveling of the machine body, the machine body cannot be readily turned since the rotation space of the machine body is needed and the rotation is a factor to reduce the operation efficiency of cutting operation in a field. SOLUTION: In this plant cutting machine, the plant cutting machine has a constitution in which a plurality of traveling wheels 2 are installed, a rotation part 23 equipped with a shearing blade 13 for cutting a plant is arranged rotatably around the revolving shaft 21 of the shearing blade and movably right and left relatively to a machine frame, the revolving shaft 21 of the shearing blade is laid at the position of the center of gravity of the rotation part 23 on a plan view and a plurality of the traveling wheels 2 can be wholly operated in the same direction.
